I am outnumbered, the kids are winning, the house is loosing! Lordy what a mess!
This will come as no surprise to many of you, but running errands and grocery shopping with kids blows chunks! It feels something like this:
And a bit like this:
Yeah, a lot like that except I took three kids shopping not just one! One would have been heavenly. Is it too early for a glass of wine? Sigh, yeah I thought so.
The kids probably think that the shopping was more like this:
So if "No Means no, no is always no, when they say no it means a thousand times no" WHY DO THEY KEEP ASKING??????? Jeesh!
Also husbands who call and tell their wives that they fell down the stairs at work, broke their leg and are on the way to the hospital are not nearly as funny as they think they are! It was definitely a man who came up with April Fool's Day.

LOVE the videos! Ohmygoodness, my side is hurting!
And Dave- what a total stinkhead! Can't believe he did that to you!
(...Oh wait, maybe I can...)
LOL!
Oh, I hope your day improves. Bloody Marys? Mimosas? They are early day drinks!
Yeah, April Fools kind of stinks. My in-laws are coming today. No joke.
Do you have sink sprayers there, in the kitchen? Rubber-band the sink sprayer activator button thingy. Then ask your dear husband to put the kettle on tonight for some tea. Zapppppppo! Blam. As soon as he turns on the tap he'll get sprayed with water. (Aim it first. And note, I have gotten myself by forgetting.)
I do this to my boys and husband every year. I laugh every time.
I pretty much feel better just having complained, and those two commercials crack me up! Why don't we have commercials that funny in the states? No sink sprayers here. Maybe in Malawi, of course with my luck I would forget and it would spray the cook and he would quit then I would be back to cooking my own food.
Good luck with the in-laws. I wish I had something profound to say to convince them the FS is a brilliant idea, but I don't. It is a brilliant idea though. I am bracing myself for a round of "political discussions" with the parents this summer. Oh yay. This too shall pass.
These were great! I love them!

No, I couldn't think of anything evil enough to do in return. Maybe next year.
Love it!! I would love to see a mom throw a fit like that to show her child what it's like...I think I'd buy her groceries for her that day!!
