this is ridiculous. I had to click on the picture because I thought it was a little field mouse. I'm not sure if I feel better that it's actually a lizard or what... Did he just walk up to you like that asking what's for lunch or did you put him up to it???
Oh it's real! Colin caught the poor anole lizard and after listening to his father and uncles talking about how they used let the lizards in Okinawa hang on their ears when they were kids Colin decided to try it out. He blew in it's face until it open its mouth then he stuck it on his ear where it clamped down and hung on for dear life for several minutes.
As you can see from his expression he was very please with himself. After a few minutes he did confess "This kinda hurts." I am betting he does it again anyway.
yea... I used to do that too. The trick is to get a matching set, and then go around catching more to wear on your clothes too, and if you can incorporate a snake somewhere too (draped, not biting), then you're really stylish! :) Happy Reptilian Summer! (it's better than spiders, right??)
