The handshake is for the capitol city of the country that is home to the 3rd largest lake in Africa and the 8th largest lake in the world. The country is known as the "warm heart of Africa." This country earned its independence from the UK on 6 July 1964 and one of the official languages is Chichewa.

@ Aprille-You are close this country does border Tanzania but the picture is fresh water. The big hint is the 3rd biggest lake in Africa. A lake that shares the name with the country. Think Madonna. She likes the kids from this country.

Malawi, how fabulous. I lived in Blantyre (not Lilongwe) a while before moving to Zimbabwe. Malawi is very beautiful. But overpopulated so don't be surprised to see people walking on the road. And Lilongwe is a little - well stretched out. The city planners thought it would become the Manhattan of Africa so they carefully zoned business and residential areas with considerable distances between them - the result is the middle of town is what we call bush! All good fun though. I wish you well and hope you enjoy!!
