I don't know enough about mushrooms to collect them from the wild. I will leave that to the experts and just buy mine at the market. My husband enjoys taking pictures of them, we have hundreds of pictures of mushrooms.
I am convinced when I see mushrooms like these that they are in a magical forest with fairies flying about. I wish I could find mushrooms like that around my house.
You guys have some great looking mushrooms. We don't get many here in Israel, the climate is too dry (well, other than in the supermarket - there are plenty there).
I have a fascination with mushrooms since I was a kid, so these spoke to me right away!! The colors are incredible and I especially loved the first one, with the red coat on the child against the leaves. Just beautiful.
Perfect shots for wordless... Happy WW! Hope you'll visit mine too..
ReplyDeleteI love the shots. I haven't seen that many shrooms since Mario 3
ReplyDeleteI love the red mushroom! Are any of them edible? Not that I eat mushrooms or anything.
ReplyDeleteGreat shots. I'll pass on a fly agaric omelette though! Happy WW
ReplyDeleteWow - I've never seen a red mushroom before!! I bet your kids had a great time picking the edible ones :)

I shot a bunch of the mushrooms out front, but none of the photos seemed to give me any ideas. You did a great job with your fungus (:
