Wordy Wednesday-SIXTEEN!

My baby is 16 today!  I don't know how that happened because I know I am not old enough to be the mother of a 16 year old boy. Or would that be man?  Hmmm...

If we were still living in the states Dakota would be getting his drivers license this week and our insurance rates would be going through the roof.  Thank goodness we live overseas!  He has to be 18 to drive in Germany, YIPEE!  Two more years of not worrying if he wrecked the car.

Of course he had always hoped that he would get a car for his 16th birthday and I wouldn't want him to be disappointed so he is getting a car cake!  Hope he likes it.  I thought the road kill candy was a nice touch!

Yes I made the cake. I took decorating classes several years ago. I figured with four kids we would be needing a never ending stream of cakes. It really is a lot of fun.

Fancy Cake. For my oldest son's 13th birthday his cake resembled a skateboard - oh so many years ago - Morgan is now 34 - He/I can't possibly be that old either!

That cake is soooo impressive and yes the road kill candy is a nice touch! I would be thrilled too if I could keep my kids off the road as long as possible!

No, not a man until 18; then only maybe! Wait til he is 24 and bring you your grandchild to stay with you for the weekend, then you will know what old is! LOL But I can't believe he is 16! I remember buying him that talking bear!! I'm glad there is no raod kill cats! MEOW! Another great thing, when he is 18, he can pay for and have his OWN insurance!
