Hi Shannon - Oh, that's different (at least to me -- maybe common where you are?). It's an interesting photo -- like an abstract. :-D

Hi Bobbie-Thanks! My husband took that picture, he likes to find unusual views of the everyday. Ferns are everywhere here. In trees, on walls, and on the ground. It’s the tropics. This particular fern is in our front yard. It is about four and half feet across and taller than my 3 year old. It is what they call a bird’s nest fern back in the states. I used to have one a little one in Texas and could never figure out why it didn’t do well in the corner of my living room. Now I get it, it wants rain everyday, 90 degrees all the time and to be outside in the sun and pollution ummm make that fresh air. Poor thing.

It doesn't look like a fern at all! Or is it just me?

A wonderful picture! Thanks for visiting History Is Elementary. You were dead on with your comment about the murals at the Coit Tower in San Francisco. I'll be writing about the murals in a few days.

YIKES! I accidentally hit "enter" on Mr. Linky before I was ready...that is NOT a link to my URL.

LOVE your close-up of the fern...I'm so gunning for a macro lens because I love the way you can see so much in the details!

Thanks for your visit to my WW yesterday :).
