I'm asking, too: are they real?

Reminds me of Kafka's "Metamorphosis"!

God bless.

Actually these beetles are very much real. My kids and I caught them while we were staying in the mountains of Puncak Indonesia. I can tell you from personal experience their little feet are like hooks. It took me about 5 minutes to detach one from the back of my hand and I bleed from each spot where he was attached. The beetles we found varied in size from that of a small lime to the size of lemon.

I was so hoping they were not real. I am ok with spiders and most bugs, but beetles creep me out and these ones are huge!

Happy WW
